Bones

Plot

Say Hello! to Dr. Temperence Brenan, a genius forensic anthropologist that likes the bones she works with more than the living people. She's quirky and strange, extremely rational and practical and in the same time completely out of sync with popular culture and, sometimes, the present. However, she is absolutely brilliant in what she does and that leads her to start working with FBI agent Seeley Booth. He's ex-Army Ranger, practicing Catholic, superstitious, peoples person and very much a charmer. Starting as a one-off-case partnership their relationship flourishes to a successful team and a good friendship. And the dead bodies just keep on coming!

Why I Like It:

It's cunning show, filled with dark humor and plenty of cultural references. Most of the cast is rather cute and looks the part. It's not completely original idea, one partner is from the law-reinforcement, the other is  from seemingly not connected area of expertise. However this show offers more of an insight to the actually work with the dead and it's not only about how smart the agent/police detective is, it's about how good the team behind them is. Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz look adorable together and they are more than just perfect for their roles.
Also, did I mention the hilarious dark humor? It's hilarious!
